Harlan L. South, MD, a native Virginian, is the founder of Premier Wellness and Aesthetics Center in San Francisco. His background includes biochemistry and chemistry in his undergraduate studies at N.C. State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Afterwards, he returned to his native Virginia and pursued his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia as well as his Internal Medicine internship and residency. Dr. South then served 10 years as an active duty physician, including several overseas tours. He retired in 2023 from the Air National Guard as a Colonel and Chief of Aerospace Medicine.

He is a global longevity expert in hormones, peptides, and mesenchymal stem cells. Dr. South serves as a physician entrepreneur, delivering innovative healthcare to clients throughout the United States and the world to promote longer, healthier living.

Dr. South lives in San Francisco with his wife of 30 years and a daughter presently pursuing film and law. His hobbies include running several miles a day, reading about world history, and appreciating international art.
